Pietens Top Defender In GOJHL

Chatham’s Nate Pietens was named the GOJHL’s Western Conference Defenseman of the Month after a solid November with the Chatham Maroons.

Pietens is a smooth skating six-foot-three defenseman, who is the backbone of Chatham’s defense corps playing in all situations.

In November, Pietens totalled 2 goals and added 5 assists for 7 points in 10 November games.

Pietens is one of the Chatham Maroons’ group of 20-year-olds this season. The Chatham-Kent Cyclones product is playing in his fourth fell season with the Chatham Maroons.
