Wallaceburg Thrashers Unveil New Logo

After landing on a name, the Wallaceburg Thrashers, for Wallaceburg’s new Senior B Lacrosse team, the organization has taken another step, unveiling their new logo.

The logo for the new Thrashers franchise, pays homage to the areas farming community, tying the “thrashing” connection to threshing.

To celebrate their new logo, the Wallaceburg Thrashers organization is holding a t-shirt drive, selling shirts via http://teespring.com/thrashers-tees.

The Thrashers, who were relocated from Sarnia, Ontario, where the team was known as the Sarnia Beavers, will begin play in the summer of 2015.

Originally, the new Wallaceburg organization chose the name “Wallaceburg Satans,” but changed the name following a negative community reaction, and settling on the Wallaceburg Thrashers after seeking community input.
