Maroons Blow Out Nationals

The Chatham Maroons used their high powered offense to win their second game in as many nights Sunday, blowing out the London Nationals 9-2.

Alex Morgan had a big night for the Maroons scoring twice and assisting on a pair of goals for 4-points on the evening.

Brennan Feasey also scored twice and picked up ab assist in the game.

Newcomers Gus Ford and Luc Knight made their offensive presences felt, each contributing with a goal and 2 assists in the win.

Also scoring for the Maroons were Jared Dennis, who scored a beautiful breakaway goal, Steven Beenackers, and Connor Doran.

Bo Bessette made 26 saves in his second straight win between the pipes for Chatham.

Last night against Strathroy, Chatham fired 65 shots against the Rockets, and followed that up with 59 shots this evening.
