Riversite Realty Todd & Rick Shepley Laker of the Game: Connor Johnston

The Wallaceburg Lakers Player of the Game, sponsored by Riversite Realty Todd and Rick Shepley, for Wallaceburg’s January 21 game against the Blenheim Blades is Connor Johnston.

Johnston, a Wallaceburg product, was Wallaceburg’s top defender on Wednesday in the Lakers’ 6-3 loss to the Blenheim Blades.

In Wednesday’s game, Johnston picked up two assists in Wallaceburg’s loss to Blenheim. Johnston assisted on Ryan Gruszka’s second period goal, and also on Jeff Brown’s second period power play goal.

The five-foot-eleven Johnston is in his second full season with the Wallaceburg Lakers.
