Trent Fox was suiting up with a new team in a new city. It was understandable then, that the OHL rookie went four games without a point for his new team, the OHL’s Belleville Bulls.

Part of a blockbuster OHL trade from the Erie Otters earlier this month, Fox is slumping no more as the Thamesville, Ontario native picked up three points in two games this weekend.

Trailing 3-2 Saturday against the first place Oshawa Generals, Fox scored in the third period to knot the game at 3-3, sending it to overtime where the Bulls would eventually fall to Oshawa 4-3.

Sunday against the Niagara IceDogs, Fox had his first multi-point game as a member of the Belleville Bulls, picking up a pair of assists in a 4-3 shootout loss. Fox picked up assists on goals by Justin Lemcke and Stephen Harper.

The six-foot-two Fox now has 8 goals and 15 assists in 41 games.

The Belleville Bulls and Trent Fox return to action next weekend playing a trio of games, facing Ottawa Friday, London Saturday, and Peterborough Sunday.
