Five Questions With Alex Morgan
Morgan, who is in his second go around with the Chatham Maroons, has also spent time in his Junior career with the Junior B St. Thomas Stars. As well, Morgan, who was drafted by the OHL’s Saginaw Spirit, played in the OHL with both the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and the Ottawa 67s.
Below are Alex Morgan’s answers to CKSN’s Five Questions:
1. What is your career sports highlight/top memory?
My best memory in hockey so far has to be scoring my first OHL goal on my first OHL shift with the Soo Greyhounds at what’s now called Budweiser Gardens.
2. Who is your favourite professional sports team and athlete?
I don’t have a favourite sports team but my favourite professional athlete is Eugenie Bouchard.
3. If you could achieve one thing/goal in sports, what would it be?
Hoisting Lord Stanley would be a dream come true.
4. Who has been your biggest sports influence and why?
My father. Aside from being a loving parent he has shown me how to work hard and be a man. The life skills he has taught me can easily be connected to the player I have become and continue to grow into.
5. What do you love most about playing sports?
The good times, the laughs and the memories that get made.
