Synchronized Skating Competition Returns To Chatham

The Skating Clubs of the Kent Region Skating Council will again be hosting the Lloyd Ogilvie Memorial Synchronized Skating Competition at the Thames Campus Arena in Chatham, Ontario on Saturday, February 21st

The competition will run from 8:00 am – 10:30 pm. Admission cost will be $5.00 at the door, which will open at 7:00 am.

Teams from all across Ontario, 65 in total, will be participating, including Toronto, Newmarket, Uxbridge and Creemore.

Locally, teams from Amherstburg and Windsor will contribute to the approximately 900 skaters of all ages and levels that will be taking part.

A highlight will be two exhibition skates by ‘Nexxice Junior’, a Burlington-based team just returning from the Spring Cup 2015 Competition in Milan, Italy. Their skate times are 3:02 and 5:10 pm.

All proceeds will go to support 6 of the local Skating Clubs of the Kent Region Skating Council.
