A week after being released by the Colorado Mammoth, the National Lacrosse League team Sean Pollock had spent three and a half years with, he made an instant impact with his new club, the Calgary Roughnecks.

Pollock was quickly snapped up by the Roughnecks, signing a one year NLL contract with the team on March 16.

The former Wallaceburg Red Devils and Wallaceburg Minor Lacrosse star, who hails from Port Lambton, Ontario, made an instant impact helping his Colorado Roughnecks to a 20-9 win over the New England Black Wolves.

Pollock scored two goals in the win, boosting his season totals to 11 goals, 18 assists, and 29 points in 9 games.

Playing in the NLL since 2005, Pollock helped chase another Wallaceburg alumni, Tye Belanger, from the net, as the goaltender was pulled by New England after allowing 7 goals on 25 shots.
