Ballhawks Boys Medal In Hamilton

On Saturday, March 28, the U17 Boys Chatham Ballhawks volleyball team competed in the U18 Ken Davies Cup volleyball tournament in Hamilton, Ontario. They continued their success in the U18 division bringing home silver medals.

Chatham finished pool play 2nd in their pool, beating Richmond Hill Thundercats (25-11, 26-24), and splitting with Mississauga Pakmen Black (23-25, 27-25) and Hamilton MAC (22-25, 26-24).

In the quarter-finals, the Ballhawks beat Toronto West (14-25, 25-18, 15-11). In the semi-finals they beat Etobicoke E381 Eagles (25-21, 25-19). In the gold medal match Chatham lost a close, hard-fought battle to Mississauga Pakmen Black (23-25, 20-25).

This tournament will serve as a great warm-up to the OVA Provincial finals that the U17 Chatham Ballhawks will play in from April 10-12th.
