Essex Man Charged After Arena Assault

Essex, Ontario – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex was called to attend the Essex arena on March 28, 2015 at approximately 9:00 p.m. regarding an altercation in the front lobby.

A 47-year-old man involved in the incident has been charged.

An argument ensued amongst two parents who had children who had just played hockey against each other.

The male victim of this assault sustained minor injuries in the dispute.

David CASSIDY, age 47 of Essex was arrested and charged with Assault. He will appear in a Windsor court on May 12, 2015.
