Four Outlaws Teams To Provincials

The Chatham Outlaws girls hockey organization has qualified teams in four different divisions for the OWHA provincials this month.

The Provincial tournaments take place from April 9-12 in the Greater Toronto Area.

Leading the way is Chatham’s top team, the Chatham Outlaws Midget ‘AA’ team. The Midget ‘AA’ Outlaws open their tournament Thursday April 9 against the Waterloo Ravens. The following day Chatham will face off against the Nepean Wildcats and Sudbury Lady Wolves.

The Peewee A Chatham Outlaws are Chatham’s next Provincial entry. The Outlaws begin their run against the Brantford Ice Cats before facing the Aurora Panthers and Brampton Canadettes.

Chatham’s Atom B entry will begin April 10 facing the Nepean Wildcats. Chatham also plays the Vaughan Flames and Wilmot Wolverines in their pool play.

The Novice B Chatham Outlaws open their provincial run April 10 against the Stoney Creek Sabres, and will also play the Kingston Ice Wolves and Kanata Rangers in their tournament.

Each tournament includes pool play before a re-ranking occurs Saturday in the playoff round before the championship games on Sunday.
