The Chatham Outlaws girls hockey organization are stepping up their game for the 2015-2015 season.

Last year, only the Midget level offered ‘AA’ hockey, but this year, the Chatham hockey organization will feature both ‘AA’ and ‘A’ offerings at the Midget and Bantam levels, a clear step up in the calibre of offering in Chatham.

The Midget ‘AA’ team, which has graduated several players directly to the University level in recent seasons, including defener Zoe Ellis to Windsor, and last seasons goalie Sydney Authier to Ryerson, will be a veteran team led by a core group of forwards who chose to play together in Chatham, rather than dispersing to various PWHL teams across Southwestern Ontario.

The second Midget team will also step up from ‘BB’ to ‘A’ this season, and features a mix of last year’s Midget BB and Bantam A players, as well as an influx of players from the Provincial bronze medal Kent Fillies Bantam BB team.

The Chatham Outlaws Bantam ‘AA’ team also is a mix of last years Kent Fillies BB and Chatham Outlaws A team, as well as a key selection of Peewee A Outlaws making the step up.

Tryouts for Chatham’s additional entries and rosters are still being finalized.
