Local Lawn Bowlers Advance To Provincials

The 2015 Ontario Men’s Fours Lawn Bowling Championships will be held this weekend with a local team representing District 1.

The Dresden Lawn Bowling Club team of Steve St. Pierre, Ron Little, Mark St. Pierre, and Brian Doidge will travel to the Windsor Lawn Bowling Club on June 6 and 7 to compete for the Provincial Championship.

Play begins at 9am on Saturday, with the gold medal finals being played Sunday morning.

Teams from Ontario’s 16 Districts will compete for a spot at the 2015 Canadian National Championships in Toronto, Ontario from August 16 – August 22.
