Cory Lucier Named Offensive MVP
Cory Lucier’s career year just got a little bit better.
After scoring 40 goals and 50 assists for 90 points in 20 games with the Wallaceburg Red Devils, Lucier has been rewarded with the West Division Offensive Most Valuable Player award.
Lucier’s scoring touch was a welcome addition to the Red Devils squad this year, as Lucier also accounted for three of the team’s nine game-winning-goals.
This season was only Lucier’s second full-time season on the lacrosse floor with the Jr B Red Devils. His previous career high came from last year when he scored 18 times and added 23 helpers for 41 points in 16 games.
The Red Devils finished this year with a record of 9-10-1 to squeeze into the playoffs but were ousted by the powerhouse Six Nations Rebels.
