A couple weeks ago the Blenheim Blades added former Blade, and Great Lakes Junior ‘C’ hockey League 2013-14 rookie-of-the-year, Drew Marlatt to their roster.

Marlatt had joined the Junior ‘B’ Lambton Shores Predators for the 2014-15 season and one of his teammates was 16-year-old Nick Delyzer of Merlin.

The Blades have now added Delyzer for the 2015-16 campaign as General Manager Wayne Cowell continues to try to build a team that can make a major run at the league title in the club’s 50th year.

As one of the Predators two 16-year olds Delyzer took part in 40 games scoring two goals and adding an assist.

Delyzer, a forward, stands six feet tall and weighs in at a solid 200 pounds, and played his early minor hockey in Tilbury before moving to the ranks of the Chatham AAA Cyclones.
