Wallaceburg Lacrosse products Jordan Durston and Zack Herreweyers are excelling away from home and continuing some serious playoff aspirations.

The former Griffin alumni and two-time Bantam “B” Ontario Champions (2007 and 2008), Durston and Herreweyers each saw their new squads sweep their opening round playoff series in Jr. “A” play.

Durston is coming off a monster year with Six Nations, registering 24 goals and 40 assists. Jordan continued his dominance in the opening round with 7 goals and 10 assists in a four-game sweep of the Burlington Chiefs.

Herreweyers’ Brampton Excelsiors swept the Toronto Beaches with Zack adding 8 goals and 3 assists in three games.

Local lacrosse fans could see these two Griffin products face off in later rounds of playoff action, as Brampton and Six Nations attempt to stomp forward towards the Minto Cup.
