Griffin Bantams Making History
Lacrosse is an institution in Wallaceburg.
This weekend, the Wallaceburg Griffin Bantam team is adding to the local history book. Recently, Tanner Cole was named to Team Ontario for the upcoming nationals in Saskatchewan.
Now, the entire Griffins Bantam team have become the first Wallaceburg Griffins box lacrosse team in history to compete in the Ontario Lacrosse “A” Qualifiers.
The qualifiers tournament is held over three weekends and showcases the best 16 bantam division teams in the province. After the first two weekends of competition, the top six advance to the Ontario Lacrosse final six “A” Championship weekend.
Wallaceburg Lacrosse executives are honoured to have a Wallaceburg team represented at Ontario Minor Lacrosse’s highest level.
