Jamieson Junior Golf Tour Results

The Jamieson Junior Tour had its first event of the season on Tuesday at Essex Golf and Country Club. A total of 97 Junior and Collegiate Golfers participated in the event. Players enjoyed great course conditions despite the recent heavy rains.

In the Junior Boys division Luc Warnock and Curtis Hughes tied with 3 over 74’s.  Curtis was not available for a playoff so Luc was declared the champion for this event. Third place went to Brendan Fehr who carded a 75.

In the Junior Girls Division Jasmine Ly continued her winning ways from last year taking the title with an 82 besting Julia Moretto by two strokes.

In the Collegiate Men’s Division Greg Mullins, Crawford McKinlay and Bryce Evon all carded a 1 under par 70’s to force a three way playoff. Ridgetown’s Crawford McKinlay who plays for the Wayne State Warriors, prevailed with a birdie on the first playoff hole.

In the Collegiate Women’s Division Sara Holland prevailed with an 83.
