Katreena Whiteye will be among a select group of Ontario women attending Team Ontario’s U18 Women’s selection camp this summer.

Whiteye, who hails from Moraviantown, was one of the youngest players in the PWHL last season, suiting up with the Bluewater Hawks.

In 34 regular season games, the five-foot-four forward had 5 goals and 9 assists for 14 points.

Also playing for the UCC Lancers girls hockey team, Whiteye, who will enter grade 11 next year, helped her high school team win a LKSSAA title, and reach OFSAA.

Whiteye is scheduled to suit up for the London Devilettes of the PWHL this season.

The July camp, which will be hosted by the OWHA, aims to select two teams from the 80 invitees to participate in the U18 National Championships in Huntsville, Ontario next November.

The OWHA Team Ontario selection camp will run from July 16-19 in Toronto.
