Big day for Wallaceburg Lacrosse as Wallaceburg’s Tanner Cole and Emily VanDamme have just wrapped up the CLA National Championships in Calgary and Saskatoon.

In her sixth National Championship, Goalie Emily VanDamme added to her resume another silver. In her 3 starts, VanDamme captured 2 wins and 1 loss with a goals against average of 4.33 and only being scored on 13 times.

Tanner Cole represented the Bantam Team Ontario squad, who went undefeated and took home the gold medal in a 7-2 win over Team BC. Cole, who was cut from the team last year, made a splash scoring 4 goals and 6 assists which was good enough to make him tied for 15th in total points with 11.

Sarnia’s Megan Lynn Seed also played at the National Championship with the Team Ontario Senior Women’s lacrosse team. They were able to snag the gold in the Canadian Lacrosse Associations National Championship.

Tanner, Emily, and Megan would like to thank everyone for their support!
