  • Thamesville’s Trent Fox has been invited to the St Louis Blue Rookie camp in the fall. Fox was ranked 139th among North American Skaters and is following in the footsteps of his older brother Dane who also went undrafted. Dane Fox played for St Louis in the rookie tourney and is now property of the Vancouver Canucks.
  • The Chatham Sports Hall of Fame has released its list of inductees for 2015. Joe Malo, Derek Krete, Bill Stobbs, Jim Maynard and the 1989-90 CK Golden Hawks Sr. Boys Volleyball team will be enshrined on September 17th at the W.I.S.H Centre in Chatham.
  • The Wallaceburg Warriors Women’s Fastball team rocked Alvinston 18-8 last night in Lambton-Kent Ladies Fastball play. Taryn Charboneau homered for the Warriors while Amy Hull picked up the win on the bump.
  • Laura Martin of Chatham fired an 84 at Erie Shores in Leamington yesterday which was good for a one stroke win in the Collegiate Division of the Jamieson Junior Golf Tour.
  • Chatham’s MacKenziue Butzer is tied for 34th at the Ontario Women’s Amateur Golf Championship. Butzer shot an 85 in the second round after an opening round 76.
