Local Trotters Do Well In Dresden OSS Races

JULY 1, 2015 – (DRSEDEN) – Two local horses did well at Dresden Raceway in Ontario Sire Stakes action today as CINCINNATI MISS finished first in her OSS Division and JUDY THE BEAUTY was second in her OSS dash.
CINCINNATI MISS went right to the front for driver Trevor Henry and cut fractions of 29, 57.3, 1:29 for a mile time of 1:58.2, just two fifth of a second off the track record. The three-year-old KADABRA filly is owned by Doug McIntosh of Wheatley and Ivey Pharm Stable of Cincinnati, Ohio. CINCINNATI MISS is trained by Robert McIntosh of Windsor.
JUDY THE BEAUTY another locally owned horse who brought home second prize from the third Division of OSS Trotters. The three-year-old Muscle Mass filly is owned by Randy Zhok of Dover Centre. JUDY THE BEAUTY sat two hole and popped out down the lane finishing second to FLEXCEPTIONAL. JUDY THE BEAUTY is trained by Keith Jones and driven by Trevor Henry.
Other OSS winners on the day included SUMMERS JEWEL for Mario Baillargeon, HOPE RISES and LA BELLA ROSE for Sylvain Filion, WING FLASH and Wayne Henry and SUMTHINTOTALKABOUT and Trevor Henry.
A crowd of almost 1,000 people celebrated Canada Day at Dresden Raceway betting a total handle of $26,879.
