Pool Sharks Compete at Outdoor Swim Meet
This past weekend, 4 Chatham Pool Shark Swimmers competed at the 38th Dr. Paul Hauch Invitational in London, Ontario. The annual meet is held at an outdoor 50m pool in Thames Park that also includes a water slide and a wading pool/splash area making the meet a hit with the whole family!
Connor Cartier, Evan Moore, Grace Reaume and Alex Thiel had top 8 finishes in their individual races. Congratulations to Alex Thiel for finishing 2nd in 200 IM and 3rd in 100 Back both in the 9 year old Boys category!
Wrapping up the 2014 – 2015 swimming season for the Chatham Pool Sharks will be Madison Broad and Genevieve Sasseville competing at Canadian Age Group Championships in Quebec City July 30 – August 3. Madison will go on to compete at 2015 Canadian Swimming Championships in Montreal the following weekend, August 6 – 9.
