Broad Competes At Canadian Swimming Championships

Madison Broad of the Chatham Y Pool Sharks competed at the Canadian Swimming Championships in Montreal from August 6 – 10. She had a great meet competing against women of all ages from across the country as well as international teams. Madison finished 9^th (50 Back), 19^th (100 Back), 29^th (200 Back), and 39^th (50 Free) all of which were improvements on her placing going into the meet.  Concluding the meet with 15.50 points, the Pool Sharks finished 39^th in the Women’s Team scores while coming 58^th in Combined Team scores out of 108 teams at the competition.

This was the last meet of the Pool Shark season and finished a busy 12 days for Madison during which she raced 9 of those days at Canadian Age Group Championships followed by Canadian Swimming Championships.
