Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston and the Six Nations Arrows hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven OLA Junior A championship series over the Peterborough Lakers.

After winning the Ontario title, and a Minto Cup as Canadian champions last year, the Arrows, and Durston, are now only two games away from an Ontario repeat, and another shot at a Minto crown.

Thursday, Durston had 5-points in a 9-3 Arrows win to help his team take the series lead. His goal and 4-assists lifted his postseason totals to 13 goals and 37 points in 11 playoff games this season.

The Six Nations Arrows swept through Burlington and Whitby to reach the OLA final.

Game 4 of the final will take play Monday, August 10 at 8pm in Peterborough, with game 5 back at the ILA Wednesday. If necessary, game 6 is August 13 in Peterborough, and game 7 is August 15 at Six Nations.
