Last year when the Six Nations Arrows won the Ontario Junior ‘A’ lacrosse championship, it was bittersweet for Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston.

He’d played a key role leading up to the finals, but suffered a knee injury and found himself on the sidelines.

This season, Durston got his redemption, and found himself in the spotlight leading the Arrows to their second straight Ontario title, and a berth in the Minto Cup.

Six Nations eliminated the Peterborough Lakers Wednesday night with an 8-3 win, taking the series 4-1.

Durston scored a game high four goals in the win.

He finished the playoffs with 19 goals and 47 points in only 13 games.

Durston and Six Nations will now face the West Coast champion in the Minto Cup, for a chance to be named Canadian Junior A champions.
