  • Jordan Durston scored four goals as the Six Nations Arrows won the Ontario Jr “A” Lacrosse Championship last night by beating the Peterborough Lakers 8-3. Durston and the Arrows won the series four games to one and now move on to defend the Minto Cup as the National Lacrosse Champs.
  • The Jamieson Golf Tour wrapped up yesterday at Ambassador Golf Club in LaSalle. Brooke McKinnon won the Jr Girls Division after firing a 77. Julia Moretto of Chatham shot an 86 for the second place finish. McKinnon finished second in the standings.
  • Chatham’s Kyle Wicks carded a 73 to take the Collegiate Men’s top spot on the day while Brett Fuji of Chatham shot a 76 to finish fourth and Crawford McKinlay of Ridgetown shot a 77 to finish sixth.
  • In the Women’s Collegiate Division Laura Martin shot a 91 to finish third.
