Outlaws Win Showcase

The Chatham Outlaws Midget ‘AA’ team won their White Championship at the 11th annual Stoney Creek Showcase tournament this weekend.

Chatham defeated the Buffalo Regals 3-2 to take the championship. Madison Lalonde, Lauren Edwards, and Lauren Nicholson scored the goals for the Outlaws in the win.

The Outlaws won a similar 3-2 decision over Mississauga earlier on Sunday, with goals from Sydney Sabourin, Nicholson, and Taylor Reaume scored Chatham’s goals.

Chatham’s other White division win was a 6-3 victory over the Vancouver Comets.

In the preliminary round of the tournament, Chatham beat Nepean 2-1, fell to Toronto 5-3, and dropped a 2-0 game to Pittsburgh Elite.
