Missiaen Off To Poland

It’s not where Chatham’s Jason Missiaen expected to be this season, but the towering netminder will be playing professional hockey in Poland this season.

Missiaen signed with the ECHL’s Missouri Mavericks earlier this offseason but failed to make their team, being released in early October.

Missiaen will now play for STS Sanok in Poland’s Polska Hokej Liga.

Over his career in the ECHL, Missiaen has a 58-35-7 record with three shutouts, a 2.85 goals-against average, and a save percentage of .912.

Last season Missiaen played for the ECHL’s Greenville Road Warriors.
