TJ Brodie Hopes To Return In 2 Weeks

The Calgary Flames hope to get a boost from stand-out defenceman T.J. Brodie – sooner, rather than later.

Brodie, out since the pre-season thanks to a broken hand suffered while blocking a shot, hopes to return to the team in two weeks time.

Brodie is currently traveling with the team but has yet to be at team practice since the injury. That should change on this three-game road trip, beginning Sunday against the New York Rangers. Brodie has been skating non-stop to stay on top of his game and told local fans he’d in fact never skated so much than since he’s been on the sidelines.

T.J. missed only one game last year, scoring 11 goals and adding 30 assists for the Flames with a +15.
