Wallaceburg’s Kevin Stirling Wins Silver

Wallaceburg’s Kevin Stirling is one strong dude.

In fact, Stirling is one of the best in the world following a silver medal at the International Powerlifting Federation world masters championships this past weekend.

The week-long championships were held in Denver, Colorado and saw the Chatham-Kent native compete in several events.

Stirling took silver in the bench press after lifting 341 pounds in the 60-69 year old 93-kilogram weight class. Stirling finished fourth overall with fourth place finishes in squats and deadlift.
