Zack Horvath had a hat trick as the Blenheim Blades downed the Wallaceburg Lakers 9-4 in Great Lakes Junior C hockey on Wednesday night- The Wallaceburg PeeWee Girls hockey team picked up a 4-1 win over the Lambeth Lancers
- The Bantam Girls skated to a 1-1 tieTonight the Chatham Maroons face the Lambton Shores Predators in Chatham
- The Lambton Kent Cardinals edged out the John McGregor Panthers 3-2 in Sr Boys High School Hockey. Derek Hueni scored two goals for the Cards
- Sr Girls High School Hockey kicks off with the battle of the birds – the Chatham Kent Golden Hawks will face the Lambton Kent Cardinals at 2:30 this afternoon
- The Wallaceburg Jr Ladies Tartans basketball team suffered a tough 41-40 loss to the Kingsville Cavaliers in the SWOSAA ‘AA’ championship in Kingsville.
- The John McGregor Panthers lost 3-0 to Kingsville in the SWOSSAA junior boys ‘AA’ volleyball final at McGregor.
- For the 16th time the Chatham Kent Golden Hawks Sr Boys Volleyball team is going to OFSAA. The Golden Hawks won 3 out of 5 sets to become SWOSSAA Champions and move on to Windsor for the OFSAA championships which will run from the 26-28th
- The Pain Court Patriotes Senior Girls basketball team is heading to OFSAA next week. Pain Court defeated LKCS 44-28 last week to win the Kent Title and advance to SWOSSAA. The lady Patriotes were downed by Lajeunesse on Tuesday by a narrow margin of 7 points. Pain Court has now advanced to OFSAA being held in Windsor as the wild card team.
