Midget AE Cobras Win Strathroy Tournament

In their opening game, Nathan Nauta scored a pair of goals, but the Kent Cobras fell to the host Strathroy team 4-2. Mathieu Hansen, Evan Wolsey, and Levi Couper picked up assists.
Facing Pelham in game two, Kent bounced back with a decided 6-1 win. Logan Calhoun, Mathieu Hansen, Evan Wolsey, Zach Ferren, and Matthew Jee scored in the win.
In their third game, Kent played a tough Erin Hillsburgh team, falling 2-1 with Logan Calhoun notching the only goal, with Jee and Hansen recording helpers.
Game four saw the Kent Cobras face off against South Muskoka, shutting out their competitors 3-0. Nathan Nauta, Calhoun, and Cameron Dufault scored.
After falling to Strathroy in their opening game, Kent got to face the host again in the final, this time, defeating the Strathroy entry 2-1. Nauta and Sean Harris scored for the Cobras, boosting them to the tournament title.
Nathan Krieger and Maxx Labonte split the goaltending duties in the tournament.
