After being sidelined for more than a week with a concussion, and facial injuries, Bridget Carleton returned to Iowa State’s lineup this weekend in fashion.

The 6’1″ forward suffered head injuries earlier this month after taking a charge against Duke.

Bridget Carleton, however didn’t miss a beat returning to action this weekend in a pair of wins.

Friday, facing the NCAA’s 23rd ranked team Iowa, Iowa State held off their local rivals, for a 69-66 victory. Carleton had 11-points, 4 rebounds, and 4 blocks in her return to game action, playing 29 minutes.

Sunday, Carleton really showed she’s back, scoring a game high 22-points, including 6 three-pointers in a 70-41 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

The win improved the Iowa State Cyclones to 6-3 this season.
