The Wallaceburg Lakers dropped another one being shut out by the Essex 73’s 5 – 0 last night in Jr C Hockey action- Tonight the Lakers will see if Santa is going to be good to them as they host the Lakeshore Canadians. Amherstburg will welcome Blenheim in the other Jr C match-up tonight.
- The Dresden Jr Kings took it to overtime then Derek Daly finds the back of the net and Dresden gets a 6-5 win over the Alvinston Flyers last night. Kevin Ritzer also picked up a pair of goals for the Jr Kings.
- Clachan’s Travis Konecny and Team Canada will play their final exhibition game tonight as they prep for the world junior hockey championship…Team Canada will go up against Sweden in Helsinki, Finland
- Chatham’s Bridget Carlton picking up 5 points in Iowa States 79-63 win over the Arizona Lumberjacks yesterday
- And in Devolder Farms/Dekalb Seeds CK Major Curling League last night the winning rinks were John Young Jr. and CK Metal sales, Bob Ingram and the Alpine Plant Foods rink, Dale Kelly, Phil Daniel and Wisers, and Jim Brackett and his Storey Auto Place rink
