  • CKXS-Morning-Sports-BriefsThe Dresden Jr Kings travel to Essex to face the 73’s in Jr C hockey action tonight
  • Last night the Lakeshore Canadians edged out the Wheatley Sharks 7-6
  • The Chatham Maroons made three more moves yesterday. They officially acquired forward Nolan VandenBoorn from Blenheim while saying goodbye to rookie defencemen Ben Nicholls and Logan Percey. Percey returns to Lakesore of the Jr C loop. The moves leave the Maroons with only 20 players: 12 forwards, six defencemen and two goalies.
  • Chatham’s Bridget Carleton is hoping she can return to the Iowa State basketball line-up soon. Bridget suffered a facial injury last week after taking an elbow directly to the face while taking a charge in a game against Duke.
  • Jr Boys High School Basketball today will see Wallaceburg facing Pain Court…The John McGregor Panthers take on UCC while Lambton Kent goes up again Tilbury…it will be the same deal on the Sr Courts
