Locals Dominate Great Lakes Scoring Chart
Chatham-Kent products are dominating the Great Lakes Junior C Hockey League scoring charts as the holiday approaches.
Atop the Great Lakes scoring chart is Wheatley’s Brett Bowman. Bowman, who is in his 5th and final season with the Sharks, has 17 goals and 46 points in 30 games to sit atop the league. His Wheatley teammate Nick Tavolieri-Essex sits 5th in the league with 35 points.
A Chatham duo playing for the Blenheim Blades, Zach Horvath and Drew Marlatt sit 3rd and 4th in Great Lakes scoring respectively with 38 and 37 points.
Sliding into the 6th and 7th spots are the Dresden Kings duo of Kyle Dawson and Dillon Liberty, who both have 33 points.
The Essex 73s remain atop the Great Lakes standings.
