Pfaff, Van Herk Swim At Provincials

Blenheim Blast swimmers Rain Pfaff and Brendan Van Herk competed recently at the Short Course Provincial championships this past weekend in Etobicoke, Ontario.

Van Herk, competing in the 16-17 boys races, finished 9th in the 400m IM with a 4:41.22 time. He also had two other top 10 finished, placing 10th in the 200 IM and 200 back. He also finished in the top 20 in the 100 Fly and 200 Fly.

Pfaff, competing in the 16-17 girls competition, finished 20th, 23rd, and 22nd, in the 100 back, 200 breast, and 100 breast respectively.

The rest of the Blenheim Blast swim team were competing recently at the Border City meet, and Leamington meet, including Pfaff and Van Herk.

Blast swimmers including Van Herk, Pfaff, Linnea Mattsson, Gracin Black, Sadie Black, Grace Hansen, Micaela Holt, Ashtyn Marchand, Emma Pegg, River Pfaff, Olivia Postma, and Holly Reynolds all won individual events at the meets.
