Hopkins Named Great Lakes Player of the Month
It didn’t take former Chatham Maroons captain Brayden Hopkins long to figure out the Great Lakes Junior C Hockey League after deciding to join the Blenheim Blades in mid-November.
For his efforts in December, Hopkins has been named the Great Lakes Junior C Hockey League’s player of the month.
In just 15 games Hopkins has 31 points on seven goals and 24 assists, with four of his tallies being game winners.
For the month of December in eight games Hopkins totaled 14 points – three goals and 11 assists.
The Blenheim Blades currently sit second in the Great Lakes standings.
