Jordan Durston To Live Lacrosse Dream
“Words cannot describe how excited and nervous I am to get going on Saturday night,” said Durston in a Stealth news release. “Having the chance to open my career in front of a home crowd is going to be a great experience. I can’t stop smiling just thinking about it.”
Durston was the 19th overall selection in this year’s draft, after winning back-to-back Minto Cup’s with with Six Nations Arrows, and a successful career with the Wallaceburg Red Devils prior to that.
“All of the guys have been great to me so far. They are a group that has a lot of fun, but when it is go time, they are all business. I believe we have one of the top offensive units in the league and I hope to contribute anyway I can and will do whatever is asked of me,” said Durston about his Vancouver Stealth team.
Last season Durston scored 47 goals and 80 assists for 127 points in 38 games regular season and playoff games.
Durston and the Vancouver Stealth hit the floor this Saturday, January 9 at 7pm against the New England Black Wolves to open their 2016 season.
