Madison Broad and Genevieve Sasseville are competing at the Eastern National Swimming competitions. The competition kicks off today and runs to the 21st. Wallaceburg’s own Broad will be competing in a few different disciplines but is looking to place well in her favorite the back stroke.
TJ Brodie picked up 2 assists last night but still the Calgary Flames are having problems getting into the win column. The Flames lose to the Minnesota Wild 5-3 last night in the NHL
Travis Konecny with an assist last night but it was in a losing effort as the Sarnia Sting were Stung by the Spirit of Saginaw 5-2 last night in the OHL. 5 games in the O tonight Windsor will host the Soo Grey Hounds, The Hamilton Bulldogs are in Niagara to play the Ice Dogs, North Bay entertains Sudbury.
One major league game tonight the Wallaceburg Laker Bantam Girls taking on the South Huron Sabres C team.
The Jr Boys High School Basketball finals will see Lambton Kent host St. Francois-Xavier.
The Sr Boys finals sees Blenheim Hosting Pain Court.
Baseball registration is coming up at Memorial Arena the next 2 Saturdays February 20th and 27th from 9am to 3pm. You can register children ages 3 – 18. Registration is $100 with a $25 jersey deposit.
