It’s a tie series in the Jr C playoffs as the Amherstburg Admirals get a 4-3 overtime win last night over the Blenheim Blades. The series now swings back to Blenheim on Tuesday night for game 5. The home team has picked up a win in every game so far.
The Essex 73’s looking to sweep there series on the road tonight. The 73’s take their 3 games to none lead into Mooretown in hopes of eliminating the Flags and advancing to another Jr C final.
Trent Fox put up the lone marker for the Hamilton Bulldogs yesterday but to no avail as the Saginaw Spirit got past the Bulldogs 2-1 in O-T, the Sarnia Sting just keep on winning, they dumped Guelph 5-2. Windsor with a 4-3 win over the Saulte Ste Marie Greyhounds and Kingston spanked Sudbury 5-1.
The Dresden Midgets are now looking at a tie series at 1 game apiece after suffering a 2-1 loss in Dover over the weekend. The series now moves to Dresden on Wednesday night
The Chatham Maroons will open the Jr B playoffs with home ice advantage when they play the St. Thomas Stars on Thursday night.
The Shrec Wallaceburg Minor Midget Lakers swept the Lincoln Blades over the weekend to move onto the OMHA finals. The Lakers are awaiting the winner of the Collingwood – Erin-Hillsburgh series
