CKXS-Morning-Sports-BriefsThe Jr C Semi-Finals are underway and they are going to be a doozey.  The Blenheim Blades grab game one in over-time 4-3.  Nick Delyzer with the game winner.

Blenheim Coach Bob McNear says this series will be very tight.

 

 

 

Game 2 is tomorrow night in Amherstburg, the puck drops at 7 o’clock.

The Essex 73’s with a 2-1 over the Mooretown Flags to give them a 1 nothing lead in the series

The Wallaceburg Lakers Bantam Girls are in Petrolia tonight and the Midget TC 1 team will host the South Kent Lightning at the Walpole Island Sports Complex.

Registration is underway for the Ultimate Hockey Camp to be held March 16-18 at Chatham Memorial Arena.

The SWOSSAA swimming championship were yesterday and Tallie Laprise of the Wallaceburg Tartans was a four-time winner.  Laprise won the junior girls’ 50m freestyle the 100m freestyle Plus helped win the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.
