It’s a tie series in the Jr C playoff series between the Amherstburg Admirals and the Blenheim Blades. The Admirals get a 4-3 overtime win last night to knot the series at 2 games apiece. The series now swings back to Blenheim on tomorrow night. The hometown team has won every game in the series.
The Essex 73’s are looking to sweep their series on the road tonight. The 73’s are in Mooretown tonight for game 4 of their series with the Flags.
The Shrec, Minor Midget Lakers swept their OMHA series 3 straight with a 4-1 over the Lincoln Blades on the weekend. The Lakers now move on to the OMHA semi-finals.
The Dresden Midgets lost a 2-1 decision in Port Dover over the weekend. The series is now tied at 1 game apiece. Next game is in Dresden on Wednesday night at 7:00.
The Chatham Maroons will open up their Jr B playoff series with home ice advantage against the St Thomas Stars on Thursday night.
The Sarnia Sting with a 5-2 win over the Guelph Storm yesterday in the OHL. Saginaw got by the Hamilton Bulldogs 2-1 in overtime, Trent Fox had the lone Hamilton marker. Windsor shot down the Soo Greyhounds 4-3 and Kingston spanked Sudbury 5-1
Aimee Willimot scored a victory over Claire Hafner of Ottawa at the Ontario Bronze Gloves championship Sunday. Willimot with a split decision in the women’s 81-plus kg final.
