Hope Signs With FHL’s Brewster Bulldogs
Blenheim’s Brett Hope has signed with the Federal Hockey League’s Brewster Bulldogs.
After turning pro earlier this season, leaving the NCAA’s Buffalo State College Bengals, Hope began his pro career with the SPHL’s Fayetteville FireAntz.
Hope went scoreless in 6 games with Fayetteville before being released.
Hope made his debut Friday night with Brewster facing the Danbury Titans, scoring his first professional goal in a 5-4 OT loss.
A Chatham-Kent Cyclones and Chatham Maroons alumni, Hope spent 4 seasons in the NCAA, collecting 64 points in 95 games, captaining Buffalo State before turning pro midseason this year.
