Chatham will finish no lower than 4th in the GOJHL standings, although they could catch the LaSalle Vipers, who sit one point ahead of the Maroons in the standings, with each team having two remaining games.
Thursday, Chatham used an offensive penalty kill to knock off the Sarnia Legionnaires 6-3. The Maroons scored three shorthanded goals in the victory.
Connor Koviak scored a pair of special teams goals, while Dede Cato had 3 assists to lead the Maroons. Also scoring for Chatham were Ian Faubert, Teddy McGeen, Steven Beenackers, and Devin Panzeca.
The Chatham Maroons finish their regular season this Saturday and Sunday. Saturday the Maroons visit the Strathroy Rockets, while Sunday, Chatham closes out their 2015-2016 schedule at home hosting the St. Marys Lincolns.
