Lavoie, Norg Win OFSAA Medals

Lavoie, who attends Leamington District Secondary School won gold in the Open Individual Medley 100m event, touching in a time of 1:04.39. She also won a silver medal earlier in the week in the 100 breaststroke event with a time of 1:12.08.
Norg, who swims for Maranatha Christian Academy won a silver medal Wednesday in the 100m freestyle boys final, touching in 52.58.
It was also Norg’s second medal of the week, as he also won bronze in the 50m freestyle Tuesday, finishing in 23.97.
Several other local swimmers from Wallaceburg and Pain Court competed in the championships, but did not medal.
