With their back up against the wall the Blenheim Blades go into Amherstburg for game 6 of their Jr C final with the Admirals trailing 3 games to 2. The Blades are trying to bring the series back to Blenheim for a game 7. You can hear tonight’s game live on CKXS 99.1.
The Jr B finals opened up last night with the La Salle Vipers striking first against the Sarnia Legionnaires, a 6-1 win for the Snakes. The London Nationals dominated Strathroy 7-2. Tonight the Chatham Maroons open up their series against the St. Thomas Stars. The puck drops at 7 pm at Memorial Arena
The Wallaceburg Lakers Bantam TC 1 team will entertain the Southwest Bullets tonight at the Walpole Island Sports Complex.
Wallaceburg native and newly Americanized Shaun Suisham could be on the trade blocks as the Pittsburgh Steelers look to free up some money. Suisham sat out all of last season as he suffered an injury in a pre-season game
Wallaceburg’s Madison Broad.is competing this week at the Orlando Grand Prix, in Florida this week. Maddy is swimming alongside a number of Olympic contenders. Broad recently brought home two gold medals in the 50 and 100 metre backstroke events from the Speedo Eastern National Championships in Montreal.
