The Amherstburg Admirals will move on to face the Essex 73’s in the Great Lakes Jr C finals. The Admirals defeated the Blenheim Blades 4-3 last night to capture the series in 6 games
The Wallaceburg Lakers making more upper office moves. Ritch Kanally has been named the new General Manager of the club and Bob Price will now take over as the Head Scout. Price has worked with both the Dresden and Blenheim clubs in the past and brings a wealth of experience with him.
The Chatham Maroons opened up their Jr B playoff series with the St Thomas Stars on a winning note. The Maroons were down by 2 goals after the first period but Ian Faubert turned things around with 2 goals and the Maroons grab a 4-3 win. Chatham travels to St. Thomas for game 2 tonight.
The Wallaceburg Lakers Bantam TC 1 Team with a 2-1 win last night over the Southwest Bullets at the Walpole Island Sports Complex.
This weekend is Hockey Spirit weekend in Petrolia as look to be chosen in the top 10 for the Kraft Hockeyville competition. Chatham placed 2nd in the competition last year.
