The Wallaceburg Lakers are on the hunt for  new head and assistant coaches after Derek Ellis and both,  Ryan Paxton and Steve Gagner, resigned.  Ellis says it was not easy to make his decision to step down.

This leave co-owner Joe Byrne Jr as a coach and one other staff.  General Manager Ritch Kanally tells CKXS 99.1 FM that there are no candidates for the coaching jobs at this time.  The management staff and the owners will be starting the process of aquiring a new head coach and assistant coaches.

UCC were winners on both the Sr Girls and Sr Boys high school soccer pitches yesterday.  The Lancer Girls with a 1-Nil win over Chatham Kent today John McGregor will host St Clair, while Lambton Kent welcomes Ridgetown.  The UCC Sr Boys with a 7-3 win over the Golden Hawks.  Chatham Christian entertains Pain Court today while NLSS plays host to Tilbury

The Chatham Kent Golden Hawks won the team gold yesterday at the L-K-double S double A senior badminton championships in Sarnia
